Biography

Louis Benedetti always knew that music would play a major role in his life. At the early age of 4 Louis discovered his father’s record collection and a record player. At 11, Louis began spinning records for friends at House Parties and by the time he was 14, he started playing professionally non-stop Disco, Funk and Soul Music for big crowds.

From that time on it has been an ascendant pursuit both as a DJ as well as producer. While in New York, the nights at the Paradise Garage with Larry Levan, Tony Humphries’s Zanzibar and Kiss MasterMix Shows were Louis' greatest influence. Today, Louis Benedetti is an accomplished producer and DJ recognized internationally with an accredited track record.

Those who had the opportunity to experience his magical DJ sets, jammed with groundbreaking Soulful & up front House blended with obscure underground Classics, will agree that Louis, a charismatic personality, surprisingly is a veteran crowd pleasers DJ.

Louis Benedetti production and remix work has a deep musical flavor influenced by the sounds of the Old School Funk, the Philly Sound, Salsoul Era and most of all, the best of Soulful Club Music of all times.

Notorious for his amazing music programming and mixing abilities, Louis Benedetti is also a multi talent in the studio from playing keys to programming drums, editing as well as engineering on most of his projects.

Subsequently, Louis spends the majority of his time traveling the world Djing, producing and remixing for a variety of labels including his own Florida based SoulShine Recordings.

In celebration of SoulShine’s 5th Anniversary we bring you Soulful Sessions, a special edition compilation available exclusively through ClubStar.

This peculiar album combines some of today’s finest tunes, including previously unreleased songs by Ann Nesby, Louis Benedetti and Omega Brown. In addition it features the latest work from established as well as upcoming producers from around the world.

The Soulful Sessions Party premiered at the Winter Music Conference including the infamous recording of Louis Benedetti‘s live set seamless jammed to a live (non-rehearsed) jazz ensemble.
